Every inch of the playhouse invites play, with movement, imagination and safety thoughtfully woven into the design. A large slide runs alongside the house for a seriously fun exit, while monkey bars, a rock wall, disc swing and foam pit create a dedicated zone for climbing, swinging and big-body movement.

But we didn't stop at the obvious. The space beneath the slide became an opportunity for hidden storage, a Lite-Brite wall and even a little veggie garden. Inside the playhouse, built-in shelving, an arts and crafts station and multiple play zones create room for standing, sitting and everything in between. A pretend-play kitchen and market, workbench and magnetic chalkboard keep the imaginative play going.

And because this basement needed to work for the whole family, we tucked in a few surprises beyond the playhouse. A second Lite-Brite wall doubles as a gentle light source for the stairs, while upstairs, a dedicated media lounge gives the kids a cosy spot for movie nights with cousins and friends. With a projector they can operate themselves and a non-heat-emitting fireplace, the whole space was designed to give kids more ownership while keeping family life at the centre.
