    This timeline allows for thoughtful design reviews and approvals, product lead times, and seamless coordination with our trade partners — so everything comes together with ease.

  • Yes, these are fixed Project Fees per room — so there are no surprises, only delightful designs!

    Product and Implementation costs — including custom millwork/cabinetry and playhouse builds — are tailored to your project’s unique scope and quoted separately from the Project Fee.

    Pre-Install Decluttering/Furniture Donations and Post-Install Professional Organizing can be included as an add-on service.

  • Our team shows up on Install Day to deliver all furniture, decor and play materials. No more taking time off work, chasing down tracking numbers, or worrying about missing deliveries.

    We get straight to work assembling, wall-mounting, and even removing all packaging and garbage.

  • Absolutely! We’re happy to work with your existing pieces and add the finishing touches to maximize the full potential of your space.

    However, if we believe there's an alternative that will lead to a better design outcome and/or help meet a longer term vision of your space (we’re huge fans of quality pieces that can grow with your child), we will suggest it.

  • When we meet, we’ll discuss your overall vision and desired investment range.

    Typical project investments at Chez Shay Designs are $15,000-30,000 for Full Service Design, and $20,000-50,000 for Full Service Design + Build.

    Each project is one room or space.

  • Of course! We don't put a cap on number of revisions because we want you to be absolutely thrilled with your new space.

    Make sure to include as many details as possible when you fill out your client intake questionnaire so that we have all the information to create a plan you love right from the start.

    You will be invited to input on design rounds inside our client portal and set up video calls with Sophie to discuss any changes or ideas live.

  • Absolutely!

    We can design, hit the pause button, and resume when your site is ready for install.

  • All Full Service Design and Full Serviec Design + Build projects start with a discovery call with our founder Sophie (it’s free!). In the 20-minute call, she will get to know you, your family, and your goals for the space.
